Computer Oraganization and Architecture

INTRODUCTION

Computer is the most powerful tool man has ever created. Computers have made a great on our daily life. The use of computer almost every working place namely schools, colleges, offices, industries, hospitals, banks, retail stores, railways, research and development organizations, etc.

 Earlier computers was complex computations and used only by scientists and engineers. But the last decade the computer designs low price and easy to useable devices. Now computer could be used to store and retrieve information, control processes and machines deals with the components used in a digital computer.

Digital Computer

The word digital means that the information is represented by variables that variables are formed of 0 nad 1.

Computer Organization

Computer Organization is described the way the hardware components are connected to each other in the form of computer system.

Helping through this organization we can perform any specific task.

Example: suppose we want to adition of two numbers : 2+3=6

This task done by ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit) which have instructions to perform mathematical problem in digital computer.

Computer Architecture 

Computer Architecture concerned with the the structure or design and behaviour of hardware and software of computer and describes how the hardware and software interact to perfoem user's requirement and compter organization implemented after completed the computer achitecture.
